Right of withdrawal
For consumers · Last updated: September 2026
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Early lapse of the right of withdrawal
Nitor is digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. Your right of withdrawal lapses early if we have begun performance of the contract after you have
- expressly consented to us beginning performance of the contract before the withdrawal period has expired,
- confirmed your awareness that you lose your right of withdrawal by giving that consent, and
- we have supplied you with a confirmation of the contract under § 312f BGB.
This is how the checkout collects both: above the "Buy a licence" button on the product page there are two checkboxes, neither of them pre-ticked. The first is the express request that performance begin before the withdrawal period is over, the second the acknowledgement that this ends the right of withdrawal. Only with both ticked does a purchase start at all; without them the server refuses the payment before it begins. Both declarations are recorded against the payment, with the time and the version of the wording shown here.
The contract confirmation under § 312f BGB reaches you by email immediately after payment, in the same message as the licence key. It contains both of your declarations with the time and the version of the wording, this notice and the model withdrawal form.
Model withdrawal form
If you want to withdraw from the contract, you can fill in this form and send it back. It is not obligatory.
